Name: Cindy Reddell
Location: Minnesota, USA.
Been a fan since: 1985. I was twelve, and had very good taste at a young age.
Favourite Sting song: The first song that I heard sung by Sting, "Fortress Around Your Heart", will always be my favorite.
Favourite Police song: "Don't Stand So Close To Me '86".
Favourite Sting album: "Dream of the Blue Turtles" was the first album that I owned of Sting (including the Police). The record was a present, and I still have it.
Favourite Police album: I have owned each album on cassette. However, I have enjoyed "Every Breath You Take: The Singles" the most, because it has many of my favorite tunes from the Police.
Most memorable concert: "Nothing Like The Sun", Harriet Island, St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, July 11, 1988. This was my first Sting concert, and it was outdoors. My friend and I were in the 4th row, and It was amazing! I love the songs from this album! I don't go to very many concerts, but I have seen Sting three times.
Other favourite bands: I enjoy dancing Salsa Rueda, and listen to a lot of Latin music. Local bands that I enjoy are Malamanya and Salsabrosa. I have many CDs of Ecuador Manta, too. I listen to a lot of 80's music including Journey, U2, and Aerosmith, I also enjoy Enya, The Manhattan Transfer, Green Day, Queen, The Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and Josh Groban, to name a few. I also like listening to classical and jazz music while driving. Anna Maria Hefele is a German Polyphonic singer that I find quite interesting. Currently, I am listening to The Last Bandoleros.
In your own words: Sting has been my favorite artist for over three decades. He never ceases to amaze me.
